ActionTrac Powered Running Boards
ARIES ActionTrac powered running boards are the next generation of power steps. They are built with a unique step-within-a-step design -- two steps in one -- that provides the safest and easiest possible access on larger, lifted vehicles.
The retractable power steps automatically open when the door opens, dropping 8” below the top step and up to 15” below the doorsill. The integrated control module and single rotary motor provide dependable, highly responsive operation.
Benefits of a Step-within-a-Step
The patented step-within-a-step configuration is ideal for larger, lifted, offroad Jeeps and trucks. It is also helpful for families with younger or elderly passengers.
The main housing of each ActionTrac board provides a protective shield for the retractable step, the foldout pivot points, the rotary motor and all electronics.
With the additional step on top of the main housing, reaching the roof of the vehicle is much easier, allowing convenient access to the roof rack or roof basket.
ActionTrac running boards contour to the sides of the vehicle and provide extra protection for the rockers against small road debris and door dings.
